About This Item

Boston Mass.: The Boston Cooking-School Magazine Co.. Very Good with No dust jacket as issued. 1936. Single Issue magazine. This vintage 6 and 1/2 by 9 and 1/2 inch, This 63-page cooking magazine is in very good collectible condition with edge wear, a tiny chip to the lower edge of the rear cover, and minor dust soiling, the magazine had some pencil markings to the front cover. I have erased these as shown, this is a minor thing but still needs to be mentioned. A tight clean collectible copy. See Photos; This classic magazine of American cooking and home and family care contents include Hostels for Youth by Harry Irving Shumway, How Polly put it over by Grace Mabby, Of Course, you season to taste by Emma Gary Wallace, Seasonable and Tested Recipes Illustrated by Louisa P. Skilton and Doris W. McCray, Menu: Halloween Buffet Supper, SEa Foods A La Maryland by Jin Emmett, with much more. A great vintage cooking magazine with each issue having many uncommon recipes and cooking advice. Many great vintage advertisements. If you love cooking you will love this magazine. ; Photographs.

About biblioboy

We are biblioboybiblioboy dealers in Books, Stamps, Ephemera, Victorian Trade cards, Magazines, Postcards, Sheet Music, Engravings, and much more. I started out as a book collector and soon progressed to owning a book store with over 80,000 books and more than 10,000 pieces of ephemera, postcards, and other items. I exhibited my stock for years at book and paper shows around the eastern United States. As the book and paper business has changed over the years, I have changed the way I do business to evolve with the times. I now offer my items for sale on the web only, through my various listing services and web sites. Being a a collector, as well as a dealer, I understand the importance of condition, as well as rarity of an item, and the desire to own scarce and one of a kind items.
