Willis, Assistant Government Botanist, Melbourne, author's introduction and index. The text is illustrated with black-and-white and colour photographs and black-and-white illustrations. Green coloured textured cloth covered boards with silver titles to the front panel and backstrip. Illustrated dustwrapper with black coloured titles to the front panel. A small guide, for field work, on the identification of Victorian ground orchids. Bumping to the backstrip edges and very light age toning of the textblock edges. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. There it is a 1 " tear to the top left-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel. Sunning to the backstrip and the dustwrapper panel show rubbing, a few marks and scratches. Previous bookseller's sticker to the lower edge of the front fold over panel.
