Columbus, Ohio: Abercrombie & Fitch, 2000. Book. Good +. Trade Paperback. 280 pp. Faint pale yellow water stain along bottom of pp. 1-4, a few additional early pages rippled, rest of text clean. Lower corner of front cover thumbed. Spine crease. A fashion catalog-cum-magazine presented as a fictional family reunion scrapbook of Bryan Emerson and his siblings, four young men and a woman gathering at their posh childhood home in Hamilton, Mass. on the North Shore of Boston. Clothing is the usual Abercrombie & Fitch preppie gear, worn by blond, toned WASP specimens. Many casual bare-chested poses in color and black & white. Some models are shown stripped down to underwear. Cover shows the clan standing in front of a Georgian colonial, three of them holding geese. The inexplicable geese-holding pose is repeated several times in the inside pages. The catalog also includes 22 articles, including pieces on actors Chris Masterson, Hill Harper, William Shatner and Florence Henderson, gay Eagle Scout James Dale; R & B group Lucy Pearl; Rockette dancer Melanie Allen; boy band Hanson; an excerpt from a David Sedaris book; plus notes on best seller books, music, movies and video games. Size: 4to -- 10.5 In Tall.
