London: W. Miller, 1810. [4], 86pp, plates. Original marbled paper over boards. Later reback, with new paper label to spine, corners worn, edges bumped and chipped, paper covering boards rubbed, inner joints renewed, front free endpaper creased and spotted with some light foxing to text, plates clean. With attractive views of Versaille and its fountains and gardens, but perhaps the most interesting are the Parisian views, which are inspired by Piranesi, with eight views of bridges and a further seven views from beneath bridges, resulting in unusual and dramatic views of the French capital.
