United States: Lothian Book World, 1984. 57 pp. Limited to 5000 copies. Signed by Red Skelton on the limitation page; not numbered. White boards with a red pictorial and black lettering on the front panel; red lettering on the spine. As issued, no dustjacket. Light wear on the corners with a few scuff marks on the panels; aside from the author's signature, no interior markings. Starting in the 1930s, Red Skelton was a star of radio, then movies, and then television. He could also write. This story this begins: It was 5:30 a.m., four days before Christmas. The streets of Ashton, a small town in the Middle West not far from nowhere, were blanketed with fresh snow. The trees and bushes were draped with a whiteness that blended with the church steeple dominating the hazy distance. Ashton's street lights, adorned with Christmas decorations, cast a colorful reflection upon the icy snow in surrealistic designs that seemed to be dancing.. Signed by Author(s). First Edition.
