About This Item

The Franklin Library, Franklin Center, PA, 1977. 9.375" X 6.75" in beautiful pebble grained dark green leather with fancy gilt spine and cover decoration. 3 minor cosmetic flaws: The top edge has a mottled look probably due to exposure to moisture; The cloth endpapers in front are discolored along the hinge, probably from something being enclosed there; finally, there is a tiny nick in the leather close to the fore edge of the front cover. Otherwise, the book is excellent - clean, tight, and unmarked. 726pp. Illustrated by the author. [BC012]. Limited Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.

Synopsis

Vanity Fair: A Novel without a Hero is William Thackeray's celebrated satirical novel of 19th century British society. Vanity Fair follows the rags-to-riches tale of the captivating and ruthless Becky Sharpe as she navigates her way through London society with fearsome determination and ambition.
