New York: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 1984. This is a very good hardcover copy in a very good dust jacket with almost no wear. Very clean inside and out, some faint spotting to top of first and last white pages. Signed in ink by Roman Vishniac and his wife Edith, on the first white sheet, which also has a small black & white printed photograph on it. Not inscribed to anyone, just signed in Roman Vishniac's distinctive large hand. Bound in publisher's polished brown cloth with Vishniac's signature engraved on the front cover. Illustrated throughout in black & white with Roman Vishniac's photographs. 12" high X 12" wide, 179 pages. This book will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking. . Signed by Artist.. Second Printing. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good.
