This book of poems and beautiful illustrations come straight from the pen of a bohemian wanderer, perched temporarily in Hawaii... "How long? How hard? How fine? How heavy or light the load? If it's half as good as the half I've known here's hail!. . . to the rest of the road!" .

Reviews

On Jun 9 2016, a reader said:
This was my Father's favorite book and he shared it with me over 50 years ago. Long after he is gone I can still hear him read those words and feel the way Don Blanding brought his Vagabond's House alive. I am getting ready to share it with my Granddaughters and give them the same gift the book and my Dad gave me. The gift of poetry that touches your heart.
