Fine. pp 390 A signed copy of Barnard's novel, inscribed on the title page: '19/3/76 To Patricia Christiaan Barnard' no doubt at the Foyle's Literary Lunch on the same day whose programme is laid in, showing the great surgeon at the top table with Angela Rippon, Rhodes Boyson, Patrick Moore and other members of the great and the good. A very nice copy with a short closed tear on the front panel of the jacket. Fine 1976
