About This Item

SASEK, M[iroslav]. This is the United Nations. NY: Macmillan, 1968. 4to, 60pp. Color pictorial boards. Color illustrations on nearly every page. A fine copy in original color pictorial jacket (slight soiling, minute wear to spine ends and corners, price sticker on rear).

First edition, reinforced library binding. The 15th title in M. Sasek's This Is series. One of the more uncommon titles in Sasek's delightful series, and only one that hasn't been reissued. A wonderful primer into the United Nations as it was in the late 1960's, by the beloved Czech author.
