Self embossed decorated black coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Pink coloured tint to the top text block edge. Illustrated dustwrapper, being a gilt reproduction of the underlying embossing of the boards, with gilt and red coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. Large brown stain on page 15 – please see photograph. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and lower back strip edges with the top quarter inch of the back strip missing. Pieces missing from the top left-hand corner of the front panel and to the top left-hand corner of the rear panel – please see photograph. Creasing of the dustwrapper edges with small closed tears – with associated creasing. Rubbing of the book panels and creases with some chipping along the front edge of the back strip. White coloured stain to the front panel and there is fading of the back strip. A previous owner has supported some of the tears to the dustwrapper to the verso, with the tape still in sick to, and there are also stains present. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
