The long subtitle goes on to add: "mines and mining in all parts of the world--caves and their mysteries--famous tunnels--down in the depths of the sea--the latter part of the book deals with the criminal underground and the theft of diamonds, prize fighting, political chicanery and a host of fascinating issues. A very good copy bound in green pictorial cloth lettered and decorated in black and gilt, pictorial spine gilt and black, previous owner's name and dated 1900, corners lightly bumped, some minor spots of rubbing.
