London, Universal Publications Ltd, 1933.. FIRST EDITION 1933, 8vo, orange cloth black lettered, 90 pages + 4 pages adverts. Black and white text illustrations throughout by Alan Wright. Small shallow stain to lower edge of upper cover, very slight bubbling to cloth on upper cover, lower cover lightly damp stained at lower edge to a depth of 50 mm (2") maximum, showing very slightly on rear pastedown, no inscriptions, tiny bookseller's stamp to front pastedown, occasional small pale margin mark, edges just very slightly foxed. A very good copy in good plus DUSTWRAPPER (dw: spine slightly darkened, upper and lower panels slightly dusty, lower panel slightly damp stained at lower edge, a few chips to edges, maximum 10 mm (½"), plus triangular chip 30 x 30 mm (1 1/8") at top corner of upper panel, 10 mm (½") hole in spine and lower fold, 1 short closed edge tear to lower panel). This Never Wozzle book, inspired by Alice in Wonderland recounts how Hilary helps the Wizzle people out of a terrible predicament, and the Tufted Ferlamingo is victorious over the dreadful, horrible Terrordogtail.
