Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company/The Riverside Press, 1942. 1942 Edition with 1942 printed on title page. VERY GOOD hardcover, lacking dust jacket. A clean. well-bound copy. Previous owner custom bookplate (Verner R. Willemson) affixed to front pasted endpaper. No other markings. Pages clean and near fine. Light blue cloth hardcover is titled in black on front and spine (including small line drawing of palm tree on front). Cover is lightly color toned along edges and spine; some crimping and a small tear to cloth at spine ends. Hinges have a slight wobble but are intact and straight; book block is firm. Color illustrated two-page title spread.5-3/4 x 8-1/2". [xii] + 228 pages. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket.
