Stephen Ambrose who died at age 66 in 2002 here has signed Undaunted Courage. This set of three volumes constitutes the beginning place for all serious examinations of that extraordinary expedition. Bound in green leather pictorially stamped in gilt, all edges gilt, silk endpapers. A very nice set.
