"To which is added "How Henry Ward Beecher Sold Slaves in Plymouth Church", "Life of Harriett Beecher Stowe", "The Story of the Book", "A Key to the Characters" by Prof. Charles Morris, "Preface" and the "Emancipation Proclamation". Numerous illustrations. Frontis has tissue intact. The front and rear hinges are torn but the webbing is intact. The corners, top and base of the spine are starting to wear. The front board shows an embossed hound in a marsh. 615 pages.
