Circa 1825-1830, 12mo, 140 x 90 mm, 5½ x 3½ inches, thin card covers with repeat of title page printed on upper cover and adverts for all Elliott's French editions on lower cover, large folding engraved frontispiece and 2 charming engraved plates, all 3 plates showing little girls and a doll, 36 pages. Expertly restitched with new matching spine, covers slightly stained, inscription to inside of upper cover, offsetting to title page from frontispiece, a couple of small light stains to text, 1 tiny hole with loss of 1 letter, all easily legible.
