Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Hinges are cracked and binding is loose. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are a mildly crushed, with small splits and chips. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Pages remain intact. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Soft crushing to spine ends. Light tanning to spine and edges. Minor marks to boards.

Treves, of course, is famous these days for have treated and written about "The Elephant Man." Chapters on Mombasa, the Uganda Railway, the Masai, Nairobi in the early 1900's, the Rift Valley, Safaris, Nakuru, Port Florence (Kisumu), Rusinga Island, Lake Victoria-Nyanza, Kampala, the Nile, etc.
