Small 4to (about 10'' to 11'' tall) . Description: Lively color illustrations by the author. Oj, the shepherd boy observed a shooting star spinning down toward the castle. A whirling twirling silvery bright egg floats down and lands on one of the castle towers. The people in the castle pushed the egg off, where it rolled to the old oak tree and the bottom of the hill, and a mauve monster comes out of the egg. Everyone except Oj assumes the monster to be hostile.
