New York: Commodore Records, 1944. First Editions. Softcover. Very Good. (1) broadsheet printed in purple on white, folded to 10 pages. One page is devoted to an essay on jazz collectors and the United Hot Clubs of America. Listed are U.H.C.A. red and blue labels, including King Oliver, Louis Armstrong. Bessie Smith, Bud Freeman, Bix Beiderbecke, Pine Top Smith, Ma Rainey and her Georgia Jazz Band, Chicago Rhythm Kings, Bud Jacobson's Jungle Kings, and others. (2) broadsheet printed in brown on yellow stock, folded to 10 pages. One page observes the growing scarcity of such records: Billy Holiday, Willie "The Lion" Smith, Joe Bushkin, Art Hodes, Chu Berry, Eddie Condon, Mugsy Spanier, The Chocolate Dandies, Kansas City Six, and others. Both brochures fold to 6" x 3.5"
