Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Water staining to spine and front board. Wear marks overall.

Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Cracking to gutters of a few pages with exposed binding. Occasional thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown, with scuffing to edges. Binding is slightly shaky. Cracking to front hinge with exposed binding, causing board and first few pages to be loose. Boards have heavy edge wear with bumping to corners and rub wear all over. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth. Mild tanning to spine and edges. Book is slightly forward leaning. Some dark rubbing to boards. Rubbed indent across front board.
