Octavo (6-1/4" x 9-1/2") bound in red linen with an embossed gold fleur-de-lis design at the center of the front cover. Copy #844 of 1500 with illustrations by Edy Legrand that have been hand-colored through stencils in the studio of Walter Fischer. SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page.

Synopsis

Twenty Years After is a novel by Alexandre Dumas, père. This sequel to The Three Musketeers and a book of the so-called D'Artagnan Romances (the third and last book being The Vicomte de Bragelonne, including the famous volume, The Man in the Iron Mask) was serialized from January to August, 1845.
