Hardcover without dust jacket, 255 pages;---elegant book in a variant teal cloth with black lettering and simple decoration to spine and front cover, plus a small circular motif on the front (NOT the skeleton smoking a pipe);---very gently used, tight in binding, covers and ever so slightly faded spine are clean, only light shelf wear to spine neds and cover corner tips, ink signatures of two previous owners, one with a brief gift inscription on free front endpaper along with author's inscription "To Phyllis, Sincerely, W. Bob Holland [signed in full by him], Oct, 29, 1904", interior otherwise very clean and unmarked although all pages, but not the endpapers, are considerably age toned.
