Faint edgewear only, mainly at spine head and tail. A tight, attractive reprint edition of this 1923 novel by the New York County assistant district attorney better known as a mystery novelist (1875-1945) who pioneered the courtroom thriller genre and immortalized attorney Ephraim Tutt.
