Some browning and rubbing to edges with both vertical and horizontal fold creases, bound in modern quarter cloth with a photographic reproduction of an engraved portrait, a handwritten title page and a leaf of typescript biography preceding the work plus further typescript notes and a tls. from the booksellers Deighton Bell afterwards.
