One of the great love stories in all world literature, here translated by Hilaire Belloc with the rich art deco illustrations of Mac Harshberger. It is the story of King Marc of Cornwall, his Irish bride, the princess Iseult, who is the third part of the triangle. Besides the full-page illustrations and frontispiece by Harshberger, he has also produced several beautiful in text illustrations throughout the text. A fine bright copy bound in 3/4 gray cloth over black paper covered boards pictorially stamped in gilt, spine lettered and decorated in gilt.
