London: Grant Richards, 1900. First edition (hardback). Oblong 4to (23cm by 31cm), 127pp. 30 full-page colour illustrations. Original red cloth spine, blue boards with colour illustration to the front board, gilt titling to the spine. This copy is in fair condition only; there is some repaired fraying to the joints, the boards are rubbed, the edges of the boards are worn and the endpapers are browned. Nonetheless, the contents are in good to very good condition (short repaired tear to one page) and this is a serviceable copy overall.

Due to its large size, few copies of this title survive intact. A fantastic book, engraved and printed by EDMUND EVANS.

Large oblong format with red cloth spine and green pictorial boards. Packed with full-page colour plates. Printed one side only. Spine bumped. Corners slightly worn and some very slight rubbing to cover edges. Covers are just a little marked. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Endpapers are lightly browned. Some foxing and fingering to contents which are generally clean.
