In slipcase with mounted colour illustration from manuscript on front. 224 p.p. plus 139 full colour illustrations with commentary. Small bump to spine head. Spine slightly sunned. Some mild toning to edges of pages. Some wear and staining to box, but otherwise a near fine copy. The Tres Riches Heures, illuminated by the Limbourg brothers and completed between roughly 1412 and 1416, is one of the most famous and possibly the best surviving example of illumination of the late International Gothic style.
