The book is based on journals and sketches of Mouhot's travels in Indochina. It is one of the more enjoyable travel books of the period because of Mouhot's spirit of adventure and unquenchable curiosity. Very Good Hardback. Reprint. 300 pages with several black and white plates of Mouhot's sketches and a fold out map. Weight 1.2kg Post free within Malaysia but will incur additional postage charges when posted elsewhere. The cover has hardly any signs of wear. The end papers and the half title page have some tanning. Otherwise the binding is tight, the text is clear and there is minimal tanning throughout.
