This rather surreal trio of stories features a cast of six humanized baseballs, and follows their hijinx in the off-season. Written during the "golden age" of Negro League baseball, this title acknowledges the talent of Black players while consistently placing Ginger and his sister Gin the Black baseballs in positions of inferiority to the white Baseball Kids.
