Rudyard Kipling won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1907 being the first English writer to do so. While the boards and gilt remain bright, leaves show pale spotting throughout text. A blind stamp reading: Canada Railway News Co appears on ffep. (This being an early publishing company). Corner paper loss to rear blank sheet - not an endpaper. Top edge gilt.
