About This Item
Tight spine with fair amount of wear at top and bottom of spine. Front edge of spine has a rip 2" from the top and bottom. Faded spine has gilt letters and crown.Front red cloth board cover has gilt illustration of beefeaters on either side of title and author, illustrator in gold. Tops of pages are gilt edged. Twenty beautiful color plates with tissue guards including frontispiece. Previous owner's name and "Christmas 1912" on title page. Pages are all intact, and are clean, unmarked with an occasional smudge. No dust jacket.
