About This Item

San Francisco: HarperSanFrancisco, 2001. Hardcover. xviii, 316p., scattered b&w expedition photography throughout and two color-photo sections on coated paperstock, first edition boards in dust jacket. Signed (quite modestly) on a page tipped in between the front free endpaper and the half-title page with publisher's "Signed First Edition" sticker to front cover. Edges bear a little coffee-splash and thumbsoil, jacket also stained, a good-only copy. Norgay divides his time between Jackson Hole and Asia.
