Paperback with stapled binding 364 pages. Condition Good NO Dust Jacket War Department December 22, 1942 printing. Nice, tight, square copy with a small tear to the top cover and some stains on covers. Previous owner's signature on cover and title page. The usual yellowing with minor signs of wear and/or age.

The M3 Stuart, officially Light Tank, M3, was an American light tank of World War II. The Light Tank M5A1 was the ultimate development of the Stuart tank family. Stuarts were the first American-crewed tanks in World War II to engage the enemy in tank versus tank combat.

This manual has two sections: Operating Instructions and Organization Instructions. First section is a detailed users manual describing how to operate the controls and armament of the M5A1 Stuart. Preventative maintenance, tools and equipment are described.

Section two contains detailed instructions for the repair of each system of the vehicle. Engine, electrical, transmission, tracks, suspension, hull and turret are covered.

It's a MIL-STD Chilton's manual for the M5A1 Stuart tank. Don't leave home without it!

International shipments are double boxed with shipping paperwork attached to the outside of the box using a special envelope.
