The text is illustrated with a double page map – showing where the Tiwi people live – and black and white and colour photographs taken by the author. Black-and-white photographic paperback binding (wraparound), with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and white coloured titles to the backstrip. A photographic essay of the Tiwi People of Bathurst and Melville Islands, off the coast of Northern Territory; not only of the people, but also of their art. This book is an ex-library copy: – Date Due Page attached to the half title page, library stickers to the verso of the rear panel, paper attached to the front hinge with clear contact covering the outside of the book. Library stickers to the lower edge of the front panel and lower edge of the backstrip. Sunning of the backstrip and a little to the covers with some age toning of the textblock edges and pages.
