It is the first novel in the Gormenghast series. First state dust jucket is not price clipped, pp 438. CONDITION Wear to spine head and heel, gilt title dulled. Book has obviously been in a smokers house causing DJ browning and brittleness, spotting to end pages and edges. DJ has internally repars at spine and top cnrs with only small loss to spine ends, both front inside flap and fronte paste down are stamped 'Colonial Edition'. Book block square and tight.. First Edition. Cloth. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
