Burroughs created this, his own version of Time magazine, including a Time cover of November 30, 1962, collaged over by Burroughs with a reproduction of a drawing, four drawings by Gysin, and twenty-six pages of typescript comprised of cut up texts and various photographs serving as news items. New York: "C" Press, 1965. Original wraps. Very Good -. Brion Gysin. The 1965 1st trade edition, which consists of 886 copies. (There's also a " hors commerce" edition of 4 copies; a numbered edition [A thru J] of 10 copies, "hardbound, each containing an original manuscript page by Burroughs and an original drawing by Gysin, signed by both"; and 100 numbered and signed copies). This, the trade edition, is bright, presentable and VG- in its stapled, pictorial wrappers, with light creasing along the spine and soiling at the rear panel. The regions along the upper tips have been evenly cut in both the front and rear, showing a somewhat symmetrical, thin, angular loss which, happily, has resulted in almost no loss to the text. Quarto, includes 4 drawings by Brion Gysin in the heart of the book. The general editior of "C" was Ted Berrigan, the editor of this issue Ron Padgett and its art director Joe Brainard.
