London: Isaac Pitman, 1909. First. Hardcover. VG+. 164 pp, 80 ill,, one map. Vasse hunted extensively throughout Mozambique in 1904. He hunted and bagged members of the big five plus plains game. This is one of the best books ever written on Mozambique (on which there is not much in print) as well as an excellent big game hunting book. Because of the obscurity of the printer and likelihood that only a small number of copies were printed the book has always been RARE and extremely hard to obtain. VG+. Former owner's printed bookplate. In 35 years, this is only the 7th copy we've had.
