About This Item

London: Secker and Warburg, 1960. Bound in the publishers blue cloth binding with bright silver title lettering to spine. This is Tennessee Williams first ever collection of short stories to be published in the United Kingdom. A scarce collection with no US equivalent ever being published. The book is in excellent, crisp condition with no inscriptions or marks. The blue cloth binding remains sharp and fresh with no bumping. Book sits solid and square. Housed in the simple yet very effective dustwrapper with publishers printed price intact on front inside flap. Very light signs of handling otherwise the dustwrapper remains remarkably fresh and clean. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. This excellent collection of twelve short stories by the master playwright contains the famous The Night Of The Iguana. A lovely, well preserved book. Photographs of the book and the dustwrapper are available on request.. First Edition. Fine/Fine.
