Valley. Dark green cloth over boards with red lettering and design on the front and on the spine. Illustrated inside covers front and back. Red tent to the top, for edge, and bottom edge pages. No tears, bent pages, nor any writing. Dust Jacket, no bent flaps, shelf wear to the edges are minor with short tears on the upper front edge small chip on the lower left near the groove area. Dust jacket now in a clear cover. Illustrated front and back of the jacket is bright and clean colors are sharp. Browning to the interior pages, as is noted with this edition. The text and illustrations are clean and bright, binding is secure, a solid adventurous book. Size: 7" - 9" Tall

Synopsis

The Three Musketeers is a novel written by Alexandre Dumas. It recounts the adventures of a young man named d'Artagnan after he leaves home to become a guard of the musketeers. D'Artagnan is not one of the musketeers of the title, which refers to Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, three inseparable friends who live by the motto: "All for one, one for all" ("Tous pour un, un pour tous"). The story of d'Artagnan is continued in Dumas' Twenty Years After and The Vicomte de Bragelonne. The three novels are together known as the d'Artagnan Romances.
