New York: Arcade Publishing, 1990. Very nice book club copy in fine dust jacket protected in Mylar cover. Ed McBain's Matthew Hope series of novels takes place in the fictional city of Calusa, Fla. (somewhere in the vicinity of Tampa). The novels, beginning with Goldilocks, all have nursery rhyme or fairy tale titles. Three Blind Mice, ninth in the series, concerns the arrest of three Vietnamese in the rape of the wife of a wealthy land owner. As usual, Hope finds himself involved in a case that is far more complex than he bargained for. . Book Club. Hard Cover. Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
