London: Secker and Warburg, 1952 First edition. HB. Cream-yellow cloth with red titles to spine, and pictorial dustjacket by Roy Sanford. 206pp. The author's scarce first novel. Clean covers and pages, browning (off-setting from boards) to endpapers. Jacket is bright and mostly clean, with some light marks to back, and tanning to spine; light rubbing to corners, and there is a large closed tear to back panel from top edge and round spine, but it is not very visible. An attractive copy. Fine in Very Good jacket, now in clear sleeve.
