Oxford University Press, New York, 1949. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Very Good. Illustrator: Tudor, Tasha. Book VG+ HB in VG DJ, protected by Brodart archival cover. [27] p.: col. ill.; 18 cm. Brick red cloth over boards with paste-down title with decoration on front cover and title in yellow on spine. Size: Sextodecimo (16mo; up to 6 3/4" / 15-17.5 cm tall). 27 pages. Item Type: Book. Text block is tight and unmarked, except for previous owner's stamp on front and back endpages. The pages are slightly tanned from age. Binding is tight; corners sharp, but showing some minor shelf wear. Clipped DJ has wear and some loss at the corners. The edges and spine are darkened from handling and exposure. There is a worn spot on the front fold and spine affecting the "st" of "Thistly." At the foot of the spine there is a thin (3/16") piece of tape providing some reinforcement. Illustrator: Tudor, Tasha. Quantity Available: 1.
