Kendal: Westmorland Gazette, 1980. 1st Edition. Hardcovers. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾. Wainwright, Alfred. Original publishers green rexine binding. Illustrated with 80 sketches by Alfred Wainwright, each with short descriptive text on the opposing pages. No date, circa 1980 - possibly first edition. Light bumps to the head and tail of the spine & two board corners - with slight associated creasing to the overlying dust wrapper. Fresh & tight. The dust wrapper has not been price clipped. There is a publishers price sticker of £3 over a previous price printed on the flap of £2.50. 4mm tear with slight creasing to the head of the rear panel - now repaired. There are a couple of short niks to the head of the spine of the wrapper. Clean & complete. A beauitifully illustrated book. A very good copy.
