(Cape Town: Nasionale Boekhandel, 1968). 8vo; original black boards, lettered in gilt on spine; laminated pictorial dustwrapper; pp. (vi) + 313, incl. index; maps; tables. Dustwrapper sunned to spine panel; archival tape repair to reverse at head of upper panel; earlier owner's hand-stamp to front free endpaper; occasional fox spot. Very good condition. Later to attain some notoriety for his part in the so-called Information Scandal, which involved the use of government funds to support projects intended to improve apartheid South Africa's international image, Eschel Rhoodie here puts a positive spin on the prospects for southern Africa. .
