Thief of Time by Terry Pratchett; Colin Smythe - 2001

Doubleday. This is Terry Pratchett's agent, Colin Smythe's proof copy. With several corrections made in his hand throughout. These corrections were taken up by the author and publisher and were all added to the first print copy. The title also changed and they decided to drop 'the' and call the novel 'Thief of Time'. This proof copy is also signed by Colin Smythe to the half title page in the top corner and labelled 'correction copy'. On the inside page are a list of pages that he has corrected by hand. The copy is also signed and inscribed by Terry Pratchett to the title page 'to Brian remember rule 19!'. From the novel Rule 1 "Do not act incautiously when confronting little bald wrinkly smiling men!" Rule 19 - "Always remember Rule One and ask yourself, why was it created in the first place" The book is in very good + condition. The spine is unfaded and also free from creases. The top of the front panel of the wrapper has curled very slightly. There is no previous owners marks or ink and no foxing. Overall a very good + copy and scarce with the agents corrections and being double signed by agent / author. . Very Good. Soft cover. 1st Edition. 1st Printing. 2001.
