Lucas after Dezailler and Alexandre Le Blond, including 29 double-page and 9 folding, mostly mounted on guards. Enlarged second edition of the important French treatise on garden design, first published 1709. This edition contains a new preface and six new engravings. the book was originally published under the author's initials alone, and was later also published under the name of its illustrator, Le Blond.
