Inscription on front free endpaper: "Karl Schaub 1.8.31 Hagen (Westf.)." Inscriptions by former owners on title page. Back free endpaper bears long undated inscription in German script headed "Ex manuscripto D. Cornelii Gertman." The first part of the Theatrum historicum is a new edition of Admirandum Vindictae Divinae Theatrum. Preceded by the "Epistola P. Petri Fabri quam scripsit de curatione haereticorum ad Iacobum Lainez" (4 p.). The author's Dormi Secure Concionatorum seu Cynosura Morum Evangelica and his Cynosura Clericorum: 87 pages and 9 pages respectively at end. In Very Good- Condition: vellum is soiled; back joint separating; foxing; scattered soiling and faint dampstaining; other than the inscriptions noted above, the pages are clean and tight.
