Light bumping to corners and crushing to spine ends. Boards are slightly bowed and tanning overall.

Cream cloth over brown boards with a white label printed in brown to front board. Ghosting to pastedown from jacket flaps, light rub to rear top corner edge and otherwise in fine condition. Unclipped dustjacket has 2 small closed tears front, tiny ruffling of spine head and light crease to back panel. This is a reproduction of an Alphabet book drawn and hand written by Thackeray in 1833 for a small boy named Eddy Chadwick. In 1929 Eddy's heirs shared the manuscript for publication and provided the introductory note.
