This new edition of this book has been revised so that all text references are to a rationalized system of metric units - the Systeme International d'Unites (SI). The problems have been similarly changed, although enough have been retained in the new obsolescent foot-pound-second system for practice, while it is still used in certain parts of the world. There are some improvementsand additions to the contents, but the essential object of the original edition is retained - to give the minimum of work in Fluid Mechanics necessary for an Engineering degree student.
